Wood chip is an ideal material for many applications, including play areas, garden paths and flower beds as well as chicken coops and chicken runs.
Hardwood chip is more hard wearing than mulch and bark chipping's and break down much more slowly and cleanly. Wood chip materials are hard wearing whilst still offering British standard safety protection.
Hardwood chip is a play grade material, with a 5-30mm particle size and conforms to British standard BS:EN1177:1998. Minimum recommended depth 10-15cm for private play areas, 20-30cm Public play areas

We offer free delivery to most of the UK mainland. If you live in The Highlands, Isle of Man or any other offshore UK territory please call us on 01767 834011 for a delivery quote. We aim to deliver in 2 to 4 working days, but due to the couriers being extremely busy there may slight delays in some areas. We thank you for your patience.
Returns
Any orders to be returned to us must be notified to us by telephone. If the products are already in transit there will be charge of a minimum of £39.25 + vat per pallet, or the actual cost of delivering and returning the goods via the Pall-Ex pallet distribution network. If the goods have to be returned because of poor access or any other reason for not being able to drop the goods then the cost of delivery will be charged for both the outward and return delivery.
How we deliver
Most smaller non-Bark products will dispatched by a parcel delivery service. returning will at customers cost.
We use a national pallet network to deliver the majority of our products. Most products are delivered on pallets in which case lorries are used and a curbside delivery only can be guaranteed. We will do our best to deliver as close to the property if access allows. It is not possible to move pallets over loose surfaces or lifted over any steps, so please check before ordering. We are not able to carry materials up paths or to rear gardens. Access to sites must be on hard roads over which a vehicle can pass without sustaining or causing damage of any kind.
Please be aware that we can not deliver on to gravel drives as we are unable to pull pallets over the gravel. In cases where we can drop the pallet straight onto the gravel drive, we will endeavour to deliver.
