Eco Crops Slow-feeding ramial mulch chip is uniquely made entirely from fresh, young willow tree branches which contain the highest concentration of nutrients – rich in minerals, amino acids, proteins, phytohormones and enzymes.

We then compost the mulch to maturity, allowing it to form a stable humus that’s packed with beneficial fungi, microbes and organic compounds which are gradually released into the soil. This fertilises the soil and feeds plants over time, breaking down slowly so it won’t require annual replenishment.

Eco Crops specialist Slow-Feeding Ramial Mulch is an ideal base layer for raised beds and large flower pots, helping to improve drainage while reducing the need for additional potting compost and plant feed. It is also naturally free of resins and other compounds toxic to plants, and won’t acidify the soil.
