Budget Poultry run wood chips make an ideal floor covering for your chicken run. Supplied in a large Approx.1000 litre bulk bag
The Budget wood chips for poultry are made from at least 80% hardwood chips and are generally 5-50mm in particle size (approximately) as this graded one less time than our chicken run woodchips it may contain a minimal percentage of fines,bark and/or possible larger particles of hardwood.
Poultry run wood chips are very robust and unlike bark, chicken wood chips won't breakdown easily in the chicken run. You can use these chips on earth based chicken runs, not only do they look much better and provide a more practical surface for your chickens, the chickens love to scratch about in the chipping's and the chicken wood chips should last for months.

Very disappointed - the bag was filled with anything but 'wood chips' as it was mostly huge pieces of very sharp bark that smelled suspiciously of wood treatment. How anyone can describe this product as poultry run wood chips goodness only knows. The description of 5-30mm in size is totally misleading as most pieces were huge - one bit of wood which was very sharp both ends measured a good 9 inches in size
