Acts as a natural slow release fertiliser, allowing the plants access to a continued source of nutrients, thus reducing the need to fertilise. Can also be used as an outstanding general purpose soil improver. Dark brown/black in colour with the feel and consistency of soil.

Bark chips are a decorative bark, suitable for all landscape gardening uses including mulch for borders, paths and other decorative garden areas.
The smaller 70L bag is easy to move around the garden and are a great way to make finishing touches to areas of your landscaped garden such as borders and beds, or planters, pots and containers. Bark chips don't just look decorative, they also act as a mulch which suppresses garden weeds, helps to retain soil moisture and during extreme temperatures it will help to protect plant roots. be used for water conservation.
As the bark chips decompose it re-vitalises the soil structure, permeability, bioactivity, and nutrient availability all important for maintaining healthy plants
We offer free delivery to most of the UK mainland. If you live in The Highlands, Isle of Man or any other offshore UK territory please call us on 01767 834011 for a delivery quote. We aim to deliver in 2 to 4 working days, but due to the couriers being extremely busy there may slight delays in some areas. We thank you for your patience.
Any orders to be returned to us must be notified to us by telephone. If the products are already in transit there will be charge of a minimum of £39.25 + vat per pallet, or the actual cost of delivering and returning the goods via the Pall-Ex pallet distribution network. If the goods have to be returned because of poor access or any other reason for not being able to drop the goods then the cost of delivery will be charged for both the outward and return delivery.
How we deliver
We use a national pallet network to deliver the majority of our products. Most products are delivered on pallets in which case lorries are used and a curbside delivery only can be guaranteed. We will do our best to deliver as close to the property if access allows. It is not possible to move pallets over loose surfaces or lifted over any steps, so please check before ordering. We are not able to carry materials up paths or to rear gardens. Access to sites must be on hard roads over which a vehicle can pass without sustaining or causing damage of any kind.
Please be aware that we can not deliver on to gravel drives as we are unable to pull pallets over the gravel. In cases where we can drop the pallet straight onto the gravel drive, we will endeavour to deliver.
